Case 1, Frank Hollywood What he used to do, was sending out emails to his friends, and requested them to indicate if they would come and what they would bring. Then he would collects the results and keep some sort of list to keep track of who is bringing what. If too many people would bring wine, he would send out an email requesting the rest to bring something else. Frank doesn't own a web site, but he likes to surf the internet. That's how he stumbled on Formarama and decided to give that a try. After reading the explanation, he registered with Formarama, a process that took him less then a minute because there are no questions to answer, except for choosing a username and a password. After that, he was taken to the page 'My Events' and created his very first one by selecting a form template from the list. He selected 'General template'. Now it doesn't really matter which template he would use, because he understood that he could always change the input form, the colors and event options later on. After a bit of experimenting with the form editor, he got the hang of it and changed and added options to the form. Then he went to the page 'Event Options' changed the name of the event to 'Frank Hollywood party' . He set the option 'subscribers must confirm by email', and tweaked some other settings. Finally he generated the link which he then pasted in his email to send to his friends. From here, Frank was able to monitor the amount of registrations, by logging on to Formarama and select his event. On top of that, when he saw that almost everybody would bring wine, he took that option out by using the form editor halfway through the registration period. Here is what Frank's event looked like (and feel free to submit!) :
