Step by step instructions
Step 1: Register to Formarama.
You only have to do this once and will take you less then a minute. You
will receive an email with instructions how to confirm your registration (just
click on the link and you are registered).
Step 2: Create event
Once you are registered, you can login and you will taken to the page
'My Events'. This page gives you an overview of your current account, and later
on, will list any events you have created. There are two ways to create an
event:
- Create from a template (recommended). Select a template, and an Input Form
is created.
- Create from scratch (advanced).
From here, a new menu is available for your current event.
Step 3: Customize form
Go to the page 'Form Editor' to add text and input controls to
your form to suit your needs. Detailed information about the form editor is
here.
Step 4: Customize your event
Set the options for your event on the page 'Event Options'. This page
lets you define who may see what, the name of the event and mail and layout
options. Also you should set the status of the event to 'Open for
Registrations'. Detailed information about the the page 'Event Options can be
found here .
From here there are two possibilities.
Step 5a: You don't own a web site
If you don't own a web site, you might now want to invite people to
subscribe, or simply let them have a look at some information you have put
together. So you need to notify them by email. Go to the page 'Generate Code'
and select the radio button for 'Email Link'. Also select the default page where
the users are taken to when they click the link. Now cut and paste the link in
your email and send it to your intended audience.
Step 5b: You have a web site and want to include the code into your
site
Go to the page 'Generate Code' and select the radio button for 'Iframe Link'.
Also select the default page where the users are taken to when they click the
link. Now just cut and paste this code into the HTML code of your web page.
